Following in the footsteps of the famous Flux Foundation makers (http://fluxfoundation.org) we are designing a project that will be aimed at unifying our school, during one project, on one day. The project has been chosen to be a mechanical tree that will respond using robotics and electricity to the input of music via an ipod/mp3 player. The musical tree was chosen because it symbolizes the creativity and vitality that our school is famous for. The final tree will be between 25-40 feet tall and located on the outside of our building as a permanent fixture for public interactivity and usage.
