The idea behind this lesson is to provide students the opportunity to document their school years through photos, journal enteries, power point and silde shows.
The students in my school for the most part spend 8 years of their lives in the same school and with the same friends. The idea is to provide them a way to document their history here and in the end of their journey use those images for the yearbook and the graduation presentation they put together at the end of their 8th grade year.
The idea is for this project to be a cross curricular program to involve the whole school in the project process.

Objectives:
To provide students the opportunity to gain exposure to technology skills and knowledge at an early age.
To build on those skills year after year through more advanced use and developement of skills in technology and photography.
To have students see the correlation between storytelling, written history and visual documentation.
To provide the students the opportunity to take personal images from a file they have created and in the end create a product that tells their story.
