Our Kinder-"garden" has Grown!!

Objective: To create an extraordinary memory DVD of each student's kindergarten year.
1) Use Olympus digital camera to create memories for students during certain special days
a) first day of school
b) Grandparents' Day
c) Apple orchard and pumpkin patch trip
d) Halloween
e) Native Americans and Pilgrims
f) Senses of Christmas
g) Christmas program
h) Snow Angels
i) Valentines/friendship/caring
j) 100th Day of Kindergarten
k) Dr. Suess Day
l) Leprechauns
m) Easter basket hunting
n) field trip to the zoo
o) Annual Kindergarten Car Show (transportation unit)
p) Last Day of School
q) Various literacy play centers to go with thematic units (Supermarket play, Growing a garden, Doctor's office, Dentist office, Restaurant, Spa Room, etc.)
r) Math lessons- dice games, teen towers, measuring
s) various literacy based plays- Mrs. Wishy-washy, fairy tales (Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, etc.)
2) Combine Olympus digital photos with each students' baby pictures and various music to create a McGuire's Mouseketeers- Our Kinder-"garden" Has Grown memory DVD.
