Photo journals

Students will use digital cameras to take pictures during different classroom activities. They will take pictures during assemblies, field trips, science lessons, class plays, and holiday parties. These pictures will be used as writing prompts to practice creative writing. The pictures can also be used as grammar prompts. Students can label the nouns they find in the picture.
Student ownship is increased when they create the activity. They will be more excited to write about pictures that they took.
