Objective:
Students will find someone in their community or family that is inspirational to them and document why this person has changed their life.
A written interview and digital product will show higher levels of thinking as students analyze the life of this inspirational person.

Core Content:
This project will meet core content guidelines for Kentucky because students will have to photo edit, digitally edit, use photography and create their own music to make the digital story.

Time Frame:
The student will have 15 days of 90 minute classes to digitally edit, create music, create a menu for a dvd, and use photoshope elements to make the design aspects of their digital story.

Evaluation
Students will have a score of 4, 3, 2, 1 based on technology
standards and Kentucky Core Content Standards.

If all areas are highly satisfactory 4
If areas are above satisfactory 3
If areas need some improvement 2
If areas need much improvement 1
If areas are not satisfactory 0

A detailed rubric will be given to students showing exactly what they must do to achieve a score of 1-4.

This project would be a great project to teach basic computer editing skills, elements and principles of art and skills of empathy and inspiration!
My classroom is a classroom with inclusion so students from all walks of life at all levels will be working on this project.
