Your group will provide a 3 minute presentation that will educate our community on a particular concern related to energy policy.

Choose from the following options for your group presentation:
1. Illustrated Children’s Book
2.Public Service Announcement (Podcast or Video)
3. Skit taped to video
4. Music video

A responsibility of each citizen is to work for the common good.
With that in mind:
1. Choose a topic on which your project will focus
2. Choose a type of presentation that your group will perform
3.Research your topic for information that you decide you need in order to complete the project.
4. Begin work on your presentation

Follow this outline for this project:
1. Explain the topic that your group is focusing upon.
2.Include relevant information including facts that will help educate your audience about your topic. (you need to assume your audience does not know anything about the topic)
3. Explain how this topic is related to current environmental concerns
4.Provide your recommendation for citizen action in response to this topic that would benefit the common good.
a.In your discussion of your recommendation identify associated costs and or barriers associated with your topic.

Keep in mind that your presentation must focus upon informing your audience about the topic.
Comments
The biggest problem we have encountered with this project is not having enough technology to effectively pull it off. These flip cameras would improve it greatly.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
This project can easily cross curriculums with English, Mathematics and Science since it deals with how to make sense of different energy sources and the pros and cons of each type.
