History Comes Alive! is a lesson plan that was created through Microsoft PowerPoint. The objective is to allow for students to open their minds to the bigger picture. The lesson plan focuses on particular events that the class is covering and with the use of PowerPoint, the students are able to see images and video clips that reference the particular subject. With History Comes Alive! the students are able to fully participate in class discussions without being nervious to answer questions. The History Comes Alive! slideshow has images pop-up in a quick instant and really allows for the students to observe History. History Comes Alive! also incorporates a digital connection game. What this game does is cuts up a picture and enables the students to try to place the pieces in the correct order, and on the back of each digital piece is a description of what is taking place in that particular section. This lesson plan enables students to think and have fun while learning!
