The class is divided into mixed-ability teams of three or four students. Groups should come up with a team name. Each team then receives a list of "events" of which they are to create short videos (30 seconds or less) and a Flip camera. Each video must begin with this phrase - “We are [team name] and this is [event]. Ex. “We are the Patriots and this is shaming civil disobedience”. All team members must be in each video the team records. Teams are given 15-20 minutes to record as many videos as they can from the list. Teams upload their videos to an online repository like YouTube, Viddler or Edmodo in order to share them with the class. Stude *Optional - teams can earn points based on how many videos they complete and creativity.
