Pen Pals Have The "Write" Stuff.

For one of my lessons my students will use the cameras to take pictures of themselves and the classroom or something of thier choice. They will then use the picture they took to describe what is going on in that picture in a letter to their pen pal. Each student will then have something they casn write about. We will send the letters to their pen pals in another school.

For my second lesson each child will take a picture of something in the classroom. We will use the picture to make a picture dictionary of classroom words. Each student will take the picture I will help the student with the spelling of what they took a picture of. We will put the picture with the words in a book to display in the front of the room. The book can be used to help students with their spelling when they write their letters to their pen pals.
