Students will first choose a Crusade to study.

Students will map the exact route this Crusade took. Then, they are to choose a city along the route and study whether or not the people at that time benefited from hosting the Crusaders as they passed along. Students will also explain about the culture of the people of this town or city.

Students will then evaluate the fort system that the Crusaders constructed. They will choose one fort and explain its role and impact in the Crusades. How was this fort significant?

Students are to list at least one major battle and describe its outcome.

Students are to attempt to locate some form of literature from this time period and sample it for the class.

Students are to create a scene from this Crusade. They will enact the scene and video it.

Finally, students will create a Google Slides presentation, which will include all of their information. Students will embed their video into the presentation.

Students may be organized into small groups to complete this assignment.
