Basic Materials Needed:
Computer- Internet - Website to post on - Recording equipment (ex. microphone, recording device, editing software) - Microsoft office or other document writing for the computer

1. Students research Veterans days origins on search engine of choice.
2. Students research Local Veterans and the branch those Veterans served our country under as well as any other pertinent information.
3. Brain storm as a class some of the weekly topics for the podcast and a good title
4. Students, in teams, prepare their discussion topic for recording (ex - veterans day origins for one group - interviews with local vet.s for the others)
5. Record each groups segment of the podcast including some live interviews with local Veterans
6. Editing of podcast segments adding pictures, audio, cutting of lengthy parts that can be eliminated
7. Finalize podcast and post to website (free/user friendly website creation can be found at www.weebly.com)
8. inform your audience of post through school website/newsletter etc.
