Class Description:
The four second/third grade multi-age classrooms are implementing digital portfolios this year. Our students are not assessed with letter grades. Students keep a portfolio of their work and teachers assess in many ways. We want to move toward digital portfolios in an effort to save space and paper.
Position:
Primary Years Programme coordinator
Needs:
We need technology to add the students in collecting their work. Scanners, computers, microphones, digital cameras and other technology is needed.
My Philosophy:
If we give students the tools, they will change the world!

About Me:
I am the coordinator for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). The PYP strives to develop the whole child and to prepare them for the world.
College and Degrees:
BS and MS in Elementary Education
Employment History:
I have worked 25 years for the Indianapolis Public Schools. 15 of those years have been at the Center for Inquiry, a magnet school in the district.
