All students can learn. I believe that significant learning will come from developing significant relationships with my students. I see teaching as a reciprocal relationship between teachers and students. I believe that teachers have duties to their students and that students have duties to their teachers. It is my responsibility as a teacher to provide students with the following: ľ An environment conducive to learning ľ Tools and materials to help them learn ľ Opportunitiesand feedback to allow them to grow ľ Skills to allow them to succeed ľ Motivation to apply their knowledge to solve problems in their lives
