My Philosophy:
As a math teacher, I feel that my responsibility is to provide my students with real world experiences that help them see what they are learning is valuable. I have an unbelievable amount of passion for education and I convey that to my students everyday in my classroom. Providing all of my students with mathematical knowledge that will go with through life is my ultimate goal as an educator.

About Me:
I am currently in my 11th year as a 6th grade teacher. My passion is mathematics education. In addition to a teacher, I am the proud mother of 2 children, a son in the second grade and a daughter in Kindergarten. I have a wonderful husband who is vey supportive of me.
College and Degrees:
I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Elementary Education. In addition, I am also licensed to teacher gifted education.
Activities:
I love spending time with my family. I enjoy photography. I am not a professional by any means, but I do like to experiment with different types of angles.
