Students and their families will publish a 'family' storybook. Each student will use classroom digital cameras for a specified time period. Students will create a completed project of a storybook based on favorite family memories. Students will take photos of family members and items from the home tied to their story topics.

Students will create a 15-20 bounded book using computer technology programs and a binding machine.

Students will choose to write in narrative, expository, or persuasive format.

As a class, we will produce a classroom storybook.
Materials: Digital SLR, Mobile Labs, Word Processor, xD Memory Cards, Digital Voice Recorders, Flash/USB Drives, Batteries
