Begin by selecting a primary subject. In chosing your primary subject you will want to chose something of medium size that has the capability to move or be moved around as part of the work will yield better results if this is considered.

Select a neutral exposure - Using your mid - aperture range ( f8 or f11) and your mid shutter range (125/ or 60/ (these may vary to ensure proper exposure)

Make an exposure of you subject -

Now select your widest aperture (f4 - or less) compensate for correct exposure by adjusting your shutter speed. Be sure your primary subject is the focus .Expose.

After completing your widest aperture, you will want to capture the same subject at a slow shutter speed - (30/sec or slower) for this, you will need a tripod or other stabilizing device. Using your meter, select the proper aperture compensation to balance the exposure. When exposing this frame try to encourage movement with or around your primary subject.

Repeat until you have completed an entire roll of film.
