Purpose: To make direct instruction available to students who are absent from class or need to repeat a daily lesson.

Steps: 1. Record your direct instruction or lecture using an iPod with voice recorder and a lavalier mic, or other digital voice recorder.

2. After class, have an assigned student download the recording as an MP3 file to iTunes or a similar program.

3. Upload the MP3 file to the school website as a podcast

4. Students can access the MP3 file directly from the classroom or download it at home as a podcast.
