My ELA classes are culturally diverse ranging from Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, Vietnamese, and Asian. Almost half male/female, our gender ratio is balanced. Most students are from middle class families, but we do have some who are economically challenged.

About Me:
I grew up in southeastern, North Carolina. Upon marrying my high school sweetheart in 1979, we moved to SC and have lived in Charleston ever since. Our tiny family grew to include our son, his wife, and their two daughters.
